Your role: 

He/She manages the production site ensuring the manufacture of products from a customer order to their shipment in compliance with the company's rules and in accordance with the Product Company strategy. He/She and his teams contribute to the achievement of operational excellence, technological leadership and innovation for a sustainable and competitive development and manufacture of pumps as defined by the Product Company.

  • Based on the strategy defined by the company, define and implement a strategy adapted to the site (it will preferably be triennial). Defines and implements actions to achieve objectives. Manages the site's budget and ensures its achievement
  • Manages and coaches the management team of the Production, Purchasing, Supply Chain, Q-SHE and Process Development departments to define and implement the manufacturing strategy, inspires and builds strong teams with an emphasis on cooperation and skills development. Defines and monitors performance indicators for their team. Supports its employees in the development of their skills and autonomy (using the HR management tools in force in the company)
  • Based on a provisional and firm need, ensures the manufacture and shipment of products according to the defined manufacturing processes and using the equipment provided; is responsible for ensuring that manufacturing complies with the requirements requested, whether functional, regulatory, normative, internal or external.
  • Drives continuous improvement by deploying and using VTPS tools within the production site.
  • Ensures the proper management and administrative follow-up of the production site, particularly in the areas of Health/Safety/Environment, Purchasing, Supply chain, Production and Process development.
  • Instills corporate values and encourages diversity while ensuring that the site attracts, develops and retains the talent.   • Fully embraces the Vacuum Technique Q-SHE policy, vision and culture, and improves quality-safety
  • Develops a leadership culture based on respect, cross-departmental interaction and commitment, with a focus on execution, organizational discipline and achieving the growth objectives set by the division.

To succeed, you will need: 

Knowledge :

  • Engineering degree or equivalent Master's degree (Bac + 5)
  • At least 10 years' experience in operations and supply chain management in the field of industry
  • At least 5 years' management experience in the field of industry
  • In-depth knowledge of industrial flow (planning, procurement, supply and production)
  • Masters the continuous improvement processes including but not limited to Quality system
  • Masters the rules related to Safety, Environment and Health. Has a solid foundation on the rules related to working conditions.

Know-how :

  • Leadership and organizational skills
  • Strong interpersonal communication, including listening skills, conflict management, influence
  • Ability to define a manufacturing strategic roadmap
  • Ability to work in a complex matrix organization with numerous requirements
  • Ability to empower the team and create trusting and equitable relationships with all stakeholders
  • Advanced level in French and English both written and spoken
