Leybold UK is proud to announce that it has been awarded the Social Impact Award 2024 by Composites UK. The award recognizes companies that go beyond business success to make a significant positive difference in the lives of individuals and communities. Leybold’s dedication to fostering social responsibility and supporting sustainable initiatives was a key factor in receiving this award.
Presented by Composites UK, the Social Impact Award celebrates companies that have demonstrated a commitment to meaningful contributions in their communities and industry. Leybold’s ongoing focus on sustainability, education, and self-development have collectively driven good values, reinforcing the company’s vision to create a positive social footprint.
Leybold UK were recognised as being “focused on creating an open, caring and inclusive environment, where people can bring their whole self to work, free from any negative judgements or biases, and to feel like they belong.”
Focus areas over the past 12 months to make Leybold a “Great Place to Work” include:
- Developed “VIBE” the internal campaign which encompasses a range of activities and events which make Leybold a “Great Place to Work”.
- Focus on four areas which drive employee engagement: Wellness, Voice, Growth and Leadership.
- Culture Team made up of volunteers who meet every 6 weeks, they have a calendar of events and activities.
- As an organisation we have a “VIBE” roadmap, which includes our Inclusion and Diversity goals.
