Your role

  1. Supplier Selection and Management: Select suppliers based on cost, quality, delivery, innovation, and sustainability to ensure high-quality materials and services at optimal costs.
  2. Category Management: Conduct category analysis and implement strategies aligned with local procurement strategy to achieve cost savings and improved supplier performance. Collect and identify sourcing needs and marketplace trends and define acceptable service levels to align sourcing activities with business objectives.
  3. Project Leadership: Lead localization or resourcing projects by coordinating internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely and cost-effective project outcomes.
  4. Cost and Value Engineering: Influence product design to ensure optimal value at the lowest cost and achieve cost reduction targets through effective negotiations.
  5. Contract Management: Develop, negotiate, and execute supplier agreements to ensure favorable payment terms and conditions with suppliers.
  6. Insourcing/Outsourcing Decisions: Oversee the insource/outsource process and drive the team to make optimal make vs. buy decisions to achieve operational efficiency and cost savings.
  7. Aboard supplier transfer: responsible for the aboard supplier transfer and ensure a smooth phase in and phase out change after localization
  8. Problem solving:  collaborate with SQE and logistics teams to solve the quality and delivery issues

To succeed, you will need

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement, with a focus on strategic sourcing and supplier management.
  • Strong project management skills and experience leading cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in cost and value engineering techniques.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with supply chain management systems and tools.
  • Knowledge of environmental and ethical standards in supply chain management.
  • Fluent in English.
